Lake District Photography Guide

Wasdale

Wasdale is one of the most dramatic and remote areas of the Lake District, making it a dream location for photography. Home to England’s deepest lake, Wastwater, and surrounded by towering peaks like Scafell Pike and Great Gable, the landscapes here are nothing short of epic. The lakeshore itself offers some of the most iconic views in the Lake District, with the Wasdale Screes creating a striking backdrop. This area is also the main gateway to Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
