Ullswater

The Ullswater area is one of the most picturesque areas of the Lake District, and it’s packed with fantastic photography locations. The lake itself is a highlight, with plenty of opportunities to capture reflections and dramatic light. Glencoyne Bay is perfect for peaceful shoreline shots and nearby Brothers Water, a beautiful spot that’s often overlooked. If you’re up for a bit of a climb, Glenridding Dodd offers brilliant views over the lake. Ullswater has so much variety and it’s a location I always look forward to visiting. I think this regularly changes but, at the time of writing, I’d say this is my favourite lake in the Lake District (for photography!).
