4-DAY PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement sets out the understanding between Henry Turner Photography and Ian Worth Photography (referred to as "we" or "us") and the client. It replaces any prior agreements. Changes to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by all parties.
2. RESERVATION
Your place on the tour is secured once a £400 non-refundable deposit has been received and confirmed by us via email. Payment alone does not guarantee your place until you have received written confirmation from us.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the tour start date. Payment of the remaining balance will be arranged directly via invoice, typically by bank transfer.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in your place being cancelled, with the deposit forfeited.
3. CANCELLATION
If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:
More than 60 days before the tour start date:
You will receive a refund of any payments made, excluding the £400 non-refundable deposit.
Within 60 days of the tour start date:
No refunds will be issued.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
4. UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If we are unable to run the tour due to unexpected circumstances, such as illness or other emergencies, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund. Please note our liability is limited to the payments received.
5. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION FEES
Refunds and compensation are at our discretion. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
6. WEATHER AND ADVERSE CONDITIONS
The Lake District’s weather is famously unpredictable, and a little rain or cloud often adds to the mood and atmosphere of the landscape. However, if conditions are deemed unsafe—for example, due to storms, high winds, or heavy rain, we may cancel the tour for safety reasons.
If the tour is cancelled due to severe weather, we will attempt to reschedule. However, rescheduling is not guaranteed, and refunds will not be issued for cancellations caused by adverse weather or conditions beyond our control.
As organisers, we will make the decision about whether weather conditions are severe enough to warrant cancellation. Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for a range of weather conditions, including waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear, as we will proceed with the tour unless safety becomes a concern.
7. TRAVEL
Clients are responsible for getting to the meeting point and between locations. If you need help with transport, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to assist.
8. TOUR DURATION
The tour runs across four days. Daily start times and schedules may vary depending on location, weather conditions, and daylight hours. Specific meeting times will be confirmed in advance of the tour.
9. ACCIDENT, DAMAGE, AND LOSS
Clients are responsible for insuring themselves, their belongings, and their equipment against damage or loss.
Outdoor photography comes with risks, and participation is at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for injuries or damages during the tour.
10. FITNESS REQUIREMENTS
A good level of fitness is essential for this tour. While we won’t be scaling the highest peaks, we may explore smaller fells like Loughrigg Fell or Holme Fell. These are considered small by Lake District standards but still involve steep paths, uneven terrain, and boggy areas in places.
It’s important that you feel confident in your fitness level, both for your own enjoyment and for the benefit of the group. If you’re unsure, please contact us before booking to discuss your concerns.
11. MODEL RELEASE
By attending the tour, you grant us permission to use photographs or video footage taken during the workshop for promotional and marketing purposes. If you have any concerns regarding this, please let us know in advance.
12. PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payments can be made online via our website or by bank transfer.
13. PERFORMANCE
We will do everything we can to deliver the tour as planned, but we are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances).
14. SEVERABILITY
If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid, the rest remains in effect.
15. AMENDMENTS
This agreement can only be amended with written consent from all parties.
16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By booking, you agree to these terms. The person booking represents all participants and ensures their compliance.
